Longer term it reportedly is becoming harder to find new gold reserves.
Shorter term, there are indications of Dollar strengthening, but overall debt still a problem. Demand for gold still seems strong into the longer term future and since mine resources are slow t0o develop, their value should stay strong throughout these market swings.
